A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I didn’t understand coffee when I fell in love with it - I just knew how it made me feel.

I was about twelve, sitting quietly in the morning, as steam curled from a warm cup and the aroma steadied the day. Coffee wasn’t just a drink. It was a ritual. A pause. A way to slow time.

As a teenager, that quiet fascination became curiosity. I started working in the world of specialty coffee, pulling shots, dialling grinders, and tasting endlessly. I learned the craft not for caffeine, but for what it taught me: patience, precision, and a quiet attention to detail most people never notice but always feel when it’s done right.

In 2020, I started Humble Coffee Roasters in a friend’s garage with a small roaster, plenty of trial and error, and one simple goal: make really good coffee and share it. I gave away the first batches just to learn. Each roast taught me humility, focus, and why taking the time to do things properly matters, even when no one is watching.

That same care guides everything we do today. We source thoughtfully, roast deliberately, and create approachable, dependable coffee for real life. It’s coffee for your mornings, your workdays, and the quiet moments you’ll savour, the ones when slowing down matters most.
