Where is your coffee roasted?

Every batch is roasted fresh in Calgary, Alberta. We roast in small batches to maintain quality, consistency, and flavour.

What makes Humble Coffee different?

Our coffee is roasted to be approachable, balanced, refined, and easy to drink. It’s specialty coffee without the pretension, backed by honest service and fair pricing.

Where do your beans come from?

We source ethically and transparently through direct trade relationships with farmers across Colombia, Brazil, Ethiopia, and beyond.

What does “specialty coffee” mean?

Specialty coffee represents the highest standard of coffee in the world. To earn the title specialty grade, beans must be officially graded 80 points or higher on a 100-point scale by certified coffee tasters. These coffees are free of defects and prized for their distinct flavour, sweetness, and balance.

Every coffee we roast meets this specialty grade - carefully sourced, expertly roasted, and crafted to bring out the best in every cup.

What does “Direct Trade” mean?

Fair Trade guarantees farmers a minimum price and promotes ethical sourcing.

Direct Trade goes further, we work personally with trusted farmers, ensuring they earn more than the Fair Trade minimum while maintaining high-quality standards. Every bean we roast comes from these real, transparent partnerships, supporting both exceptional coffee and the people who grow it.

What is the difference between light, medium, and dark coffee roasts?

Coffee roasts vary by time, temperature, and flavour profile:

Light roast: Preserves the bean’s natural flavours, acidity, and brightness. Perfect for highlighting single-origin specialty coffee, like our coffee that started it all, the Colombian.

Medium roast: Balanced flavor, moderate acidity, and smooth body. Ideal for most brewing methods, like our best selling coffee: The Daily.

Dark roast: Bold, rich flavors with chocolate or caramel notes, lower acidity, fuller body, perfect for espresso. If dark roasts are your favourite, you’ll enjoy: The Royal.

We work with cafés, restaurants, hotels, bakeries, and retailers across Alberta. If coffee is part of your business, we can help make it better.

Wholesale Coffee

Do you supply coffee equipment?

Yes, we can recommend and supply reliable coffee brewing equipment tailored to your setup, volume, and workflow.

We work with the highest-quality brands trusted by professionals, including La Marzocco, Rex Royal, Sanremo, Bunn, and Eureka. By partnering with these top manufacturers, we ensure your team has the tools to consistently brew specialty-grade coffee with precision and ease.

Can you create a custom roast for my business?

Yes. We’ll collaborate with you to craft a roast that fits your menu, brand, and customer base.

Do you offer private-label coffee?

We do. You can serve or sell coffee under your own brand, supported by our expert roasting, quality control, and sourcing standards.

Do you offer training for our staff?

We provide hands-on barista and brewing training to ensure your team serves consistently excellent coffee.

What else do you supply?

We provide a full range of products to support wholesale beverage programs. This includes premium syrups from Giffard, teas from Tea Monde, matcha directly sourced from Japan, chai, and alternative milks to create a complete beverage menu.

We also supply essential café paper products like cups, lids, sleeves, and stir sticks, so your team has everything needed to serve drinks professionally and consistently.


Office Coffee

Can we customize our coffee or equipment?

Yes. We know your office, and team is unique so we treat your coffee program the same. We work closely with you to select a roast that matches your team’s taste preferences and offer brewing equipment or an espresso setup that fits your volume, space, and workflow.

Is there a contract or minimum order?

No contracts. We believe great coffee and great service should speak for themselves.

How does your office coffee program work?

We handle everything, from setup and equipment to delivery and maintenance. Your team gets consistently great coffee without the hassle.

What beverages and snacks do you offer alongside coffee?

In addition to our specialty coffee, we provide a range of beverages to satisfy every taste. This includes premium teas, matcha, and hot chocolate, all sourced for quality and consistency.

We also offer snacks, chips, fresh fruit and vegetable cups, and beverages like pop, so your team has everything they need to fuel their day.

Do you service and maintain the machines?

Absolutely. We handle maintenance, cleaning and any support you need in between so your coffee station runs smoothly. Additionally, at each delivery we taste the coffee to ensure it is always up to your high standards, and ours.

How often do you deliver?

We offer flexible deliveries based on your team size and coffee consumption. Most offices receive deliveries every one to four weeks and for those last minute urgent needs that pop up, don’t worry, we’ll be there either the same or next day, so your team never misses a cup.
